Hinkley visit

Richard Bridgman OBE, Will Bridgman and Julia Nix were invited down to Hinkley by EDF who are developing the site. Guy wanted us to have the complete Hinkley experience, so we drove down to Sedgemoor Campus, not knowing what to expect at £35 per night! But we were very impressed with everything at the Campus.

The photo shows us outside the Induction Centre where we had all of our meetings with various groups about our concerns if the Sizewell C finally gets the go ahead. We wanted to know the upside and downside of having such a massive project locally. We were concerned about the disruption it can cause to businesses.

Yes, it’s going to bring a massive amount of investment into Suffolk but it all needs to be managed vigorously so that everybody benefits. We all came away with many ideas, we just need to work with all other bodies to make Sizewell C a success for everyone. After our meetings we were bussed to the actual building site – I can’t even put into words the complexity, enormity and size of the project. We have all come away with a greater understanding of the challenges and opportunities ahead.

Our new Tesla

Our new Tesla - completely solar powered and electrically ran. This new piece of technology is a part of our carbon neutrality mission. And we absolutely love it!

24 mile charity trek for East Anglian Air Ambulance

Will Bridgman's wife Cath is walking 24 miles on the 8th of September to raise money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance - a charity which is close to us.

Their mission is to be able to run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and need to raise an additional £1 million per year to be able to do this.
