PLANET
Creating a sustainable future.
Creating a sustainable future.
Protecting the planet is not just an urgent environmental necessity. Nor is it just our moral responsibility – though it’s certainly that if you are concerned for the next generation. It is a business imperative and a great way of attracting talented young people with a passion for the future.
Developing sustainable processes and reducing inputs makes us more competitive, benefiting both Warren and our customers. As of August 2025, we are proud to be Net Carbon Neutral across our Scope 1, Scope 2, and upstream Scope 3 emissions. This milestone has been achieved through a decade of improvements, including energy-efficient systems, material recycling, factory insulation, EV adoption, and on-site power generation. Over this period, we have reduced our annual carbon footprint from over 1,000 tCO₂ to 500 tCO₂. The remaining emissions are offset through Carbon Neutral Britain’s Woodland Trust Fund, and we have committed to a reduction plan in-line with Science-Based Targets to drive further reductions through to 2050 .

Creating opportunities for innovation.
As well as developing sustainable manufacturing processes, we can help you develop sustainable products. Our prototyping service is a cost-effective way for you to develop efficient designs for fully functioning machines.
Rising demand for sustainable products has already led to Warren working on prototypes for EV Charging, Carbon Capture, and lightweight vehicles. We have also invested in the skills necessary to support the manufacturing and engineering needs of our region’s fast growing offshore and onshore renewable energy industry. We demonstrated this in 2021 by completing the ORE Catapult’s Fit 4 Offshore Renewables (F4OR) supply chain programme.
If you are interested in developing new sustainable technologies and machines, please talk to us about how we can help you make them.
We recognise our responsibility for reducing the impact of our work on the environment. We are committed to reducing waste and emissions, and to using renewable energy in all our operations where possible. To demonstrate our commitment to environmental best practice, we have achieved ISO 14001:2015 accreditation for our Environmental Management systems.
